I bought this as an alternative to coffee, tea or cocoa and for its health benefits. I mix the powder with almond milk and I heat it up a little so that the powder would dissolve better. The taste takes some getting used to, although it is not unpleasant.

This mushroom powder includes nine different adaptogenic mushrooms, all with benefits mostly for immunity, but some with long term use cautions. The formula is well thought out with regard to the mushrooms included although the percentages of each variety are not disclosed. Importantly, the mushrooms are organically sourced which significantly reduces the chances of heavy metal contamination and raises the safety profile. A few of the included mushrooms are associated with liver or kidney damage with long term high dose exposure, so as with any supplement it is not wise to go overboard. For occasional use when exposed to radiation or recovering from illness, this is a great formula. The powder mixes easily with water or juice and the taste is not offensive. It would be good if the product were mailed in a box instead of an envelope as the first jar I received had broken open from handling. The vendor replaced the product promptly, but better packing would help. All in all a good supplement with cautions advised for long term use.

The Good:•I am not a huge fan of blends, but if you are okay with them, this is a great one.•Not a lot of mushroom blends are organic, or include ORMUS minerals.•With mushroom blends, you really have to try a bunch of them to see which ones you like. They all use different quantities of different mushrooms. So it is hard to say how the different blends will affect you unless you try it. If you do take mushrooms regularly, this one is higher quality and should be in your rotation to try.The Bad:•I wish I could see how much of each mushroom was in the formula. Chaga is one of my least favorite mushrooms due to oxalate content, and its one of the top ingredients. But lots of these mushroom blends are proprietary.•Turkey Tail is an immune boosting mushroom, but its the last in the blend list. This entire blend probably leans more towards energy then immunity, but it does both.•The price is a bit higher then other mushroom blends. Probably paying for the organic.Final Verdict:•Not bad. A little spendy, but its organic so what do you expect.

I got this supplement to help boost my immunity and so far it seems to be helping. I take this but my wife doesn’t and she has gotten sick twice while I avoided catching what she had. To be fair though, I do take other mushroom supplements and I go back and forth between this one and a couple of different extracts from other brands. I do this because each has it’s own unique mushroom blend. In regards to this particular supplement I have found that it mixes fairly well with water but some of the powder does fall to the bottom of my water bottle so I need to give it a little shake between sips. I do not find the flavor off putting at all and can only describe it as a light earthy taste along with bland oats. It doesn’t cause me any stomach discomfort and I haven’t noticed any changes in my bowel movements. In other words, at least for me it seems well tolerated.I’ve only been supplementing with mushrooms now for about 6 months and this is the first one I have tried in powdered form. I got this to try as it has a unique blend compared to the other mushroom extracts I take and from what I can tell the company that produces this is very reputable. I like that that this mushroom supplement is USDA Organic certified, Non-GMO and Gluten free. My only complaint is not seeing anywhere that this product is 3rd party tested or produced in a GMP certified facility. With that said, I do want to mention however that their website does say their products are not repackaged and are manufactured in-house at a state-of-the-art facility. For now I am very happy with this product and will continue to take it. I did take 1 star off the rating not because I am unhappy with the product but because I can’t find as of yet that this product is 3rd party tested or that it is produced in a GMP compliant facility.

This is a nice product. I woud recommend it if you are in the market.

While it hits on some of the popular immunity boosting supplements, it also boosts energy. Mushroom supplements have become quite popular and this combo boosts immunity and energy. As a powder, I find it best to use this in shakes and smoothies. If you are a fan of “Last of Us”, you shouldn’t be concerned about the lab-grown Cordyceps, but you may recognize it as the fungus in the zombies. Cordyceps does not typically infect other hosts through the mouth, the infected aren’t connected to one another through a network and, perhaps the most important: The fungus cannot infect humans, just insects. As a supplement, it is good for energy and to stimulate immunity. This is just a supplement as well.I did see some others with concerns for health, but I cannot attest to that. I am only taking this supplement intermittently so I I am not as concerned about long-term, larger doses. As with most supplements, science has yet to prove more than anecdotally that there are benefits and what they are. Your mileage may vary.

I know next to nothing about mushrooms, only that this product does not contain Lions Mane which is for the brain. It mixes well, tastes a little earthy in a good way and I even add some in my cooking sometimes, not sure what the heat does to it. It comes from Dr. Group at the well established Global Healing Center in Texas so that gives them some credibility.

I ordered this 9.5 oz Global Healing Organic Mushroom Powder Supplement Blend for its Nootropic Focus Benefits. The Plastic Container comes with 18 Servings, with one Serving being 1 Tablespoon. This Product’s Main Ingredients are a Blend of 9 different Types of Organic Mushrooms, namely: Agaricus, Chaga, Cordyceps, King Trumpet, Antrodia, Maitake, Reishi, Shiitake, and Turkey Tail, followed by ORMUS Supercharged Minerals. I like that this Product has been made in the U.S. and that it uses Organic Ingredients. This Product mixes well into Liquids and has an earthy Taste and a faint Herbal Smell. While this Product is a healthy Blend of great Ingredients, the Container only offers a Supply worth 18 Days, which makes this Product pricy. I’m not sure how fast these Ingredients work or how much of a Healthy Change one can expect in only 18 Days. Personally, I haven’t experienced any adverse Side Effects with this Product. But, I also haven’t seen any Major Changes in Health either. Also, I don’t think this Product came with a Spoon. At least, I couldn’t locate one inside the Powder.

Due to autoimmune issues and related susceptibility to illness, I’ve become intrigued with medicinal mushrooms recently and decided to give this brand a try, especially since mushrooms are supposed to help with autoimmunity and lowered immune function. There’s only 18 servings in the bottle at the recommended dosage, which isn’t much time to see how well it works, but I will say that I started taking it in the middle of a respiratory illness and ended up getting much less sick than I typically would have. So I’m grateful for that.In terms of flavor, it’s pretty mild. I’ve been mixing the powder with some beef collagen, cocoa powder, stevia, coconut milk, and hot water to create a delicious keto/paleo “hot chocolate”. The mushroom flavor really isn’t noticeable when mixed with the other ingredients. It would probably do quite well mixed with any other sort of hot chocolate drink too.4 stars instead of 5 because it’s pretty pricey. Honestly the dose could probably be cut in half or thirds and still be very beneficial. But if you have the money, this would be a great investment in your health!

Global Healing doesn’t mess around. I have always liked their products and this one is no different. A quality company. This organic mushroom blend puts together agaricus, chaga, cordyceps, king trumpet, maitake, reishi. Shiitake and turkey tail for an immunity supporting, cognitive enhancing formula that blends well and tastes just fine in smoothies. At $3 a servings, it isn’t cheap. That being said, organically sourced medicinal mushrooms of this quality aren’t cheap. In comparison, you’ll pay far more for less if you purchase capsule formulas from Host Defense. Also, I personally believe there may be more than 18 servings per container.Recommended.
