    Nice fabric

  2. Amazon Customer

The neck forms ripples and doesn’t look good. I have 3 of these and they all do the same thing

[update: After five months, the shirt still looks great and is still quite comfortable. I’m a fan! ]I wear mostly tee shirts since I retired, and usually, they are cheap shirts from Walmart or Sam’s club. But I’ve seen ads and reviews of hemp shirts for a long time and decided to splurge and spend the extra $ for this shirt. I’m glad I did, it is really comfortable, quite soft and after several washings and wearings, it has not shrunk, and the color is still like new. All in all, a great tee shirt, and I will likely be ordering one or more in the near future

This is one of the most comfortable t-shirts I have ever bought! I used to buy a hemp/Tencel viscose blend from another manufacturer, but they changed the fabric and they’re not as soft anymore, and the color is faded. These are great!

Most recent edit: I just got another of these shirts and it was fantastic right out of the box – no more wash it first to love it. It felt great just like they usually do after a washing one time. These continue to be the best T-shirts round and my go to shirt for daily wear. The hemp take a lot of abuse too and holds up very well.Old review below:I got this shirt by mistake, I ordered the bamboo and got their hemp. My first impression was that it was thick and scratchy, but now I love it! The shirt just needs washing or two and it is fantastic!Once you wash and wear this shirt it comes to life. In fact the harder I am on this shirt the more I like it. I been in the ocean, the pool, on runs and bike rides and this shirt has only gotten better. If you live in a dessert climate it will be more of a winter T-shirt. The bamboo is much better on really hot days, since it is smoother and lighter.I have ordered more of them after getting one by mistake and now they are my absolute favorites. The fit is perfect! I stick to the darker colors – they look nice.I am a hemp convert, I thought it was too hippie to try it, but I love it.How to choose from 2 great shirts (Onno hemp or Onno bamboo)?Bamboo is softer right out of the box (better for gifts)Bamboo is better for super hot climatesBamboo is lighter for runningBamboo packs a little smallerBamboo dries a little fasterHemp feel great after some wearing and washing (scratchy out of the box, wash right away)Hemp shape and material holds up a little better to abuse (bamboo is thinner)Hemp colors are not as shiny as the photos seem – olive is a military olive not shiny at all (charcoal, olive and black are favs)Hemp will hold up to contact with your metal gear as well. the bamboo is thin and rubbing on metal wears a hole pretty quickly.I wear both the hemp and the bamboo all the time. I double up the bamboo often to add layered versatility.

The quality was perfectly fine, and it fit fine. I returned it because the color was completely different from what was pictured in the featured image. I know that happens sometimes, but to me that’s unacceptable. It wasn’t like it was a subjective perspective – it was an entirely different look and tone of blue.

I have so many shirts from all the best natural companies. Wool, hemp, bamboo. But this hemp blend feels like your wearing nothing and they last a long time even on the farm. I have 5 of these. I hope someday they make a long sleeve version of this hemp blend! Would be awesome

  8. Helga

It’s very interesting with a subtle nubby texture but while it’s soft on my rough hands, it’s kinda itchy to wear. Almost like it has linen in it, which I react to just like this.! Not what I expected but the blue colour is lovely so I kept it. I prefer not to notice my cloths once they are on but this one keeps me reminded.

The shirt fits well. It is nice and cool.I will buy a few more.

  10. Leslie Noble

The teal color is more like a forest green. The fabric is more like a slub fabric than a t-shirt fabric. The fabric is already starting to pil. You’d be better off ordering the organic bamboo t-shirt. Returning it isn’t the easy peasy Amazon way. You have to print off a label, send it back and then wait to get a refund.
